I was hoping to take/post another image for this entry, but the weather here has not been cooperating. So in the meantime, this will have to do... Happy birthday, sis! (",) Aline at her favorite spot in Madrid
Thank you for dedicating once again a spot for a birthday greeting to me in your photo blog. I came across on the eve of my birthday a prayer by St. Teresa of Avila. I remember our tour to Avila in 2003. With you being in Spain and all, I thought it's fitting to share it with you.
Let nothing disturb thee (Nada te turbe) Let nothing frighten thee (Nada te espante) All things pass away (Todo se pasa) God never changes (Dios no se muda) Patience attains all things (La paciencia todo lo alcanza) He who has God lacks nothing (Quien a Dios tiene nada le falta) God alone suffices. (Solo Dios basta.)
This prayer is a great source of comfort. Keep the faith. Take care. I love you and miss you.
